LivaWheel – an ergonomic aid for workplace assessments

LivaWheel not only helps people with reduced mobility to remain independent. Relatives and care staff also benefit from a better working environment and a reduced risk of workplace injuries. LivaWheel can be part of your workplace risk assessment – known in Denmark as APV – whether in a care home or in your own home.

01

LivaWheel prevents strain and creates comfort

Relatives and caregivers of a person with reduced function in the legs, hips, or pelvis can experience strain in the shoulders and back when helping them to and from the dining table.

LivaWheel makes the process smoother and more comfortable – reducing physical effort and supporting a healthier work environment.

02

Employer’s responsibility

In Denmark, employers are required by law to provide staff with the necessary aids to work safely and responsibly.

For care staff, this includes equipment that makes tasks such as transferring, lifting, and other manual handling of people easier and safer – helping to meet both legal requirements and create a healthier work environment.

03

Avoid heavy lifting and injuries

With LivaWheel, you and care staff can help someone get comfortably to the table without awkward lifting or pushing – making mealtimes smoother for everyone.

04

Ask your municipality (for residents of Denmark)

In some cases, your municipality may provide aids that make everyday tasks safer – even when used by relatives or helpers in the home. Ask if LivaWheel is on their list of approved workplace safety aids (APV).
